When heading back to the scooter today after eating the missus got extremely excited.  She had saw something she had seen, heard of, and been told about a few times in the past and wanted to go and check it out.

I didn't really know what she was talking about at first, she just kept saying look O Rose, O Rose...there.  I said, "oh yeah I see it."  And thought that was that, but she wanted to go and have a look.

We then toddled over to have a peek, but by the time I had looked through the window I was really intrigued about it all due to the fact that they make your ice cream look like a rose.  Then I barged into the place like a bull in a china shop.

Once inside it looked great, and was a little busy considering the time of the day we went there.  The woman working in the shop did an excellent hard sell, as I normally don't fall for this tactic and just bugger off, but the ice cream was indeed excellent.  I suppose this is because the French bloke who opened the shop only uses fresh ingredients and when me and the missus were testing it all you could tell.

At this point I had really decided I am getting one.  The hard sell worked, I knew the hard sell worked and was amazed it worked on me but it was really worth buying.  The girl was so polite and nice letting us try all different flavours.  She explained that we could pick three different flavours.

We picked our flavours and the girl then made it into a rose, I was originally going to get the tub of ice cream because I knew it would melt as soon as we went outside, but if you don't get the cone they cannot make it into a rose.  So obviously for the fact we wanted to show you the rose we had to get a cone, and yes it did melt as soon as we got outside.  That is because Taipei is often boiling bloody hot!

The flavours we picked were:

Mint and pineapple, chocolate and pistachio.
